Have you ever tried using green tea for face mask?
Benefits with green tea mask:
Antioxidants = Anti aging
Reduction of inflammation = Reduce redness
Benefits with honey:
Moisturizing
Anti inflammation
Strengthen barrier
I used matcha green tea powder and normal honey.
Step 1 - Mix 1/2 of each ingredients together in a small bowl
Step 2 - Apply it on your face evenly, can apply on mouth if wanted, but should avoid eyes
Step 3 - Wait 10-15 minutes and wash your face with water
Step 4 - Apply moisturizer as normal
How I feel after using :
My skin become much softer and I can tell that it helps reducing redness of my irritated skin. I love this mask and try to keep using it at least once a week.
PS: I am using the green tea brand I don't like to drink and it's so effective for my skin as mask!
Oooo~ this sounds like an interesting and cheap mask I could get my friend to try out since she has quite a bit of redness on her face.
ReplyDeleteBut wouldn't the honey be a bit sticky and a bit hard to remove after???

I will get sticky, but it's fine to use as long you don't sleep with it.
DeleteWhen you use warm water will help the honey to melts away.
Bubzbeauty on youtube made an exfoliator with green tea leaves, honey, and rice powder that worked wonders on my skin and helped me fade my acne scars. I might have to get this mask a try since I love using green tea for my skin. XD Thanks for the tip!
